Shikar Dhawan makes a new record !

 Delhi Capitals opening batsmen Shikhar Dhawan also known as 'Gabbar' creates a new record in the History of IPL The Incredible Premier League after hitting two consecutive centuries against CSK (Chennai Super Kings) and KXIP (King XI Punjab) and that to being Unbeaten. However, the team could not turn the match into their favor against Kings XI Punjab but the contribution still helped the team and they stand on the top of the points table. Dhawan also becomes the fifth batsmen to cross 5000 runs in IPL. He is the fourth Indian Cricketer to do so after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. and till now David Warner is the only overseas player to reach the mark. Dinesh Karthik hands over Captaincy to Dinesh Karthik

 Kolkata Knight riders Captain Dinesh Karthik has informed KKR's management that with a view to focus on his batting and contribute more towards team's cause he is willing to handover the teams Captaincy to Eoin Morgan who is also the captain of England Cricket team.


CEO of KKR Venky Mysore said that they are they are fortunate to have senior players like DK who has always put the team first it takes a lot of courage for someone like him to take a decision like this While the team is surprised by his decision but they respect his decision and wishes best for him. The management is also happy that they have players like Eoin Morgan 2019 world cup winning captain who can take the responsibility. DK and Eoin have worked brilliantly during the tournament and will be doing in the future as well.
